ACORN displays two email addresses:Your U of T email address, and your alternate email address.
Your U of T Email Address
Your U of T email address is where the university sends you official correspondence. You receive a U of T email address after activating your UTORid and UTMail+ account. Visit the TCard Office website for more information about this process. Once you have your email, you can monitor your UTMail+ inbox.
Before you activate your UTORid and get your official U of T email address, the email address that you used on your application to U of T will appear on your ACORN profile.
Once you get your official U of T email address, it will automatically replace your application email in your ACORN profile. You can manage certain email address settings on the UTORid account management website.
Your Alternate Email Address
Your alternate email address is what you can use in case you need to reset your password. To manage this email address as well as your password reset phone number, visit the UTORid password reset & account management website.
- To check the email addresses currently saved to ACORN, first go to the Profile and Settings page.

- You can view your email addresses on the Profile tab of the Profile & Settings page.
